fuck, YES! i've always felt that the fame was never something brendon was after, and that he has tired of it sooner and harder than everyone else. you can see it in interviews, doing the whole "publicity" thing, he's rarely into it. i feel like he just wanted to make music, just be with ryan, and this was kind of thrust on him, and he went with it b/c he knew it was what ryan wanted... but i feel like he'd have been much happier just plain making music. teaching even, as he's said.
