(okay, and that's really it, done rambling, but before Brendon leaves to try to buy Ryan, when Ryan finally believes it really is Brendon, the Brendon he remembers, and he really is here to try to save him, he finally says his name, and it's, like, a big thing for him. To actually say Brendon's name out loud, to acknowledge him, believe in him...he breathes it like it's a knife at his throat or maybe the key to his chains, like it's fire and water on his tongue, sparks on his lips, and it hangs between them like a new promise, a new vow neither really fully understands, and that there's no way they can keep, but that, somehow, they know they have to, deep inside.
