don't think this is gonna be up by thursday, but as always, i'll try.

"It does [suit you]," he says softly. "Chopin's kind of... sad, sometimes. Romantic without meaning to be... it's gentle, soft. Sometimes people don't realize how much there is to it because it's quiet, because it sounds nice, fades easily into the background. But there's a lot going on under the surface that you don't really see or feel until you play it."

He doesn't know where the words are coming from; maybe it's just music, a language on its own, separate from English, separate from the part of his brain filled with empty, human words, all the things he wants to say to Ryan and can't.

Maybe... maybe this says more.

"Music is everything to you, isn't it?" Ryan says without looking up.

Brendon blinks back a sudden prick behind his eyelids. "Not everything."

the camera is like behind bden's head while they're recording, so you can kinda just see bden's profile. when they finish the song, they talk a little, and then ryan looks up at brendon, and then down in a blushing virgin kind of way and my heart literally stopped.

If I almost cried at the teaser then I think i'll be in floods when you post.
I just love how you get it, it's almost like you're in on the joke, like you've witnessed these moments, took a snapshot in your brain and translated the one thing that has no translations. It's like magic. You capture them, the boys in our heads and the boys on the paper or computer screen and emalgamate them into something so real and honest and raw.... and you leave people like this ♥___♥

I don't know, you capture the friendship in such a refreshing way and you take canon and strip it to the bare bones and build their relationship into it, so that you can't see the line where real life ends and fiction begins

You are honestly such a talent, I'm starting to cringe reading other fic, because very few people can do these boys justice like you can. There is nobody I would rather give the boys over to if i had them

anyway I just thought that this, in particular deserved something more substantial than the flail of my heart. So anyway, thank you Colin =] ♥
