anyway, in other news, this morning i discovered that if you play the first 16 beats of bach's pachelbel canon (y'know, the wedding song) in time with "welcome to the black parade," it basically lines up musically with almost the entire song (minus bridge).  assuming you're playing it in the same key, obv.  HOW COOL?

fuck me, i love music so hard.  why didn't i major in it?  why can't i DO that with my life?  why is everything i want too late, too far out of my reach?

ugh.  no.  i am NOT going to get into that.  i spent enough of my weekend crying about my pathetic life.  fuck it.

i know i look sleepy and stoned, sorry.  i was actually just sleepy.  it was on my way to work.  pls note gryffindor hoodie.

oh fuck me (again), i'm listening to it now and it's making me want to cry (fuck PMSing, FUCK IT UP THE ASS), but mostly it's making me want to get married, but even MORE so it's making me want to write that ridiculous cheesy sappy stupid silly romantic fic that's been in my head for awhile, just a shamelessly sappy one-shot that takes place on the day of ryan and brendon's wedding (i know, i know, this is like a set-up for some 13-year-old's badfic), and spencer's fixing ryan's cufflinks and yelling at him to stop squirming and ryan's bitching about a wrinkle in his tux and jon's going through the same nonsense with brendon in some other room, and most of the fic is in flashbacks, momentous moments in their relationship throughout the years, etc.  and i just.  ugh.  it's so LAME, i KNOW, but i want to write it.  at the risk of inflated ego, i feel like i could pull it off with minimal cheese.

ANYWAY!  happy monday.  eurgh.  oh, and go see role models.  funniest fucking movie i've seen in ages.  keri and i were discussing how they need to make a movie that consists of the cast of the 40-yr-old virgin, superbad, and this.  because it would be the greatest thing ever in the history of film.

eta: apparently i'm on a classical music kick now, because i just found this which is one of my favourite classical pieces ever and HOLY SHIT ON AN ELECTRIC BASS, REALLY? and i kind of want to marry this guy now and if someone could pls teach jon to do this on his bass i would probably come in my pants, the end, kthxbai.

eta II: it seems there has been stuff going on over here and it's awesome.  i'm starting to ship ryan/shane.  fuuuuck.  also, crackfic makes my soul leap with joy.

eta III: sophie is amazing.  her portrayal of pete is stunning and intriguing and so, so believable.  read.

OHAI! yay! i would love to write it also, but it would take more planning time than just an in-between chapters thing. maybe i'll do it after pwf.

i work for the muscular dystrophy association. i'm their office whore, but i do everything from writing newsletters and silent auction guides to, like, working on databases and shit. it's decent, but it's not quite my dream job. ;)

ah, i'm not always sad. i'm in my quarter-life crisis right now, so that's my excuse. :) yay squishing!

Dude, that MCR/Pachelbel-matching thing is so cool! It also supports this thing that my friend always told me how a ridiculously large amount of songs have Pachelbel Canon as its base (rhythmically and musically), haha.

You should listen to this song; it's absolutely gorgeous! Classical music in general is just so breath-taking; I should listen to it more often, haha.

yeah, i realized that after i was playing it... i mean, it's the four basic chords of any song, major 1st, 4th, 5th, and minor 6th. so it only makes sense.

OH! And last but not least, I also printed out Now Without Stopping, and i've read it approx. fifteen times. It'll be twenty by the end of the month.
