deathly hallows.

that's about all i have the energy to rant about.  haha, 7 rants.

i am more motivated than ever to work on my fic, because that world is much more real to me now than canon.

in happier news, before our world was tainted with deathly hallows, at the b&n midnight magic party on friday night, during trivia i was THE ONLY PERSON out of like 200 people who knew what book mrs. norris's name came from.  i raised my hand, the only one; they called on me.  "MANSFIELD PARK!!!!!!!" i yelled out, remembering a beautifully sparknoted senior seminar last fall.  i won a poster.  i yelled "YES!!!!!!!!!!  MY DEGREE FINALLY PAID OFF!!!!!!!!!!" and everyone applauded and laughed and i was just glowing.

in still other news, keri said she heard two costumed fangirls raving about my harry/sirius fic - like, specifically mine.  they were talking about specific scenes and everything (and i know it's mine, because the stuff they were talking about is in no other fic i've ever read).  ***MINE!!!!!!!***  and they didn't know who i was or anything; i was busy trivia-ing, and k was sitting with them against a bookshelf.  out of all the slash fangirls on the planet, and - I HAVE GROUPIES ALL OVER THE WORLD OMFG.

/egotism.  (haha that's a funny thought.)

we are doing quite well.  health is good.  apartment is lovely.  HP shrine is gorgeous.  i graduate a week from today.  (3.89.  like a tenth of a point from summa cum laude.  DEATH.  DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  k is supposed to find out about a job this week.  we are hoping and praying.  it has fantastic benefits and i'd even be able to get on it.
