Fuck yeah I did! He was so fucking sweet! My friend and I were walking down the stairs to check our bag in and as soon as our feet land on the floor BAM Alex walks in from the bathroom no less. So we kinda froze as he walked towards us and I waved like a dork and say hi then he stopped in front of us and started talking to us. Out conversation was pretty fucking random. First we told him how we went to the past 2 tours Phantom was on and him being the dork he is said “Oh really we were there too!” then I told him about on our subway ride there my friend was being a spaz and hit her head on the train. So then he said that being a spaz is fun and you should be one everyday then asked if me and my friend were best friends which we told him we were and he said that was nice.
Then I don’t know how but we started to talk about childhood injuries that happen to your wrists and hands, and Alex then told us a story about how 2 days before Friday some fan that was gross drunk and he did an impression and everything! Alex hunched over and closed his eyes halfway if was cute-anyway he told us that the fan went to go give him a high five then did an unexpected mercy on him and pushed his middle finger back while twisting it. Then the next day when he woke up it was swollen and hurt a lot but he stilled played the day after but it looked like he was giving the finger to the crowd (he laughed about that part), but then he reassured us that it way better today.
But then after we told him about our stupid injuries he said he had to go to Diesel to pick up jeans and that he was going to be a dick about it because they never get free stuff, so we took a quick picture with him and then I asked him if he made any forts and he had no clue what I was talking about. Which just proved how drunk he was lol, then before he left he told us to find him again after the show and gave us one more hug and left. Then we started to squeal like the fan-girls we are.
And no I forgot to tell him about you! D: I kicked myself afterwards and I seriously did the coat/bag lady gave me this weird look but I did not give a fuck. So now you can surprise him with a weeding and I think he would so go for it.
So then after the show when we were looking for him we found Sam (who also is so fucking sweet!) and he signed us some stuff. Then we walked away still looking for Alex and when we couldn’t find him we went to find Sam again and asked him where Alex was, so he told us he went to get something to eat around the block or something but he should be back and he better because they had stuff to move, and if he didn’t he was going to kick his ass. Can’t you just see the love? XD But sadly we didn’t find him again but we did try to when we were talking to the subway.
