I think Spencer was late for some reason, and Ryan can get emo about it and think Spencer doesn't really love him anymore and what-the-fuck-ever he never wanted to go to prom anyway and wear a pretty tie and maybe slow dance with Spencer who he's totally not in love with. No way.
That's what should happen. Only with a stupidly sappy ending in which Ryan is srsly a girl and Spencer gives him that red flower to put in his jacket and Ryan can blush pretty much as red as his tie and the flower ;)
