well, you do say this: The quip forms in Brendon's mind like a nasty, prearranged impulse, and he turns onto his side away from Ryan, snuggling down into the pillow and biting his lip. which suggests that the next line will be, hmm idk, a quip? lol, so. i really don't know what else you could have done to get that across. i'm sure a lot of people got it and just forgot to comment on it. :)

yeah, i was sort of feeling like that last chapter. like, it kind of got to the point where i was just like, okay jfc fuck already or...confess your feelings, or SOMETHING. but...this chapter totally changed that for me. now i'm feeling exactly the opposite. i don't think they're ready yet, or at least i dont think ryan is, so. yeah. you're doing very well, bb. but, just for the record, it's never been unbelievable. you're fics are always eerily realistic. i can really see their lives being like this sometimes, which is why i'm always like "YOU HAVE SPECIAL POWERS, OMG!"
