I know completely what you mean - we can have no idea about how the writing process for Brendon (or Ryan and Brendon together) works, because it is so completely personal for each person. It's one of those things which is completely and utterly unique to every individual - there's no way for anyone else to understand it.
I think I know what5 you mean - I just let go as well... stuff kinda flows into my head and i write it down and if it's good, great, if it sucks, well, better luck next time I guess! I have to really lobe what I'm writing too, and I get completely immersed in it. But if not, I feel like I'm forcing myself to write, and that's never good. it's like when I do work - I always get a better mark on essays I've enjoyed writing.
But that part of the fic is just how I always imagined Brendon would write - complete abandon. Lost in it. The best technique of all: no technique at all. I think for Brendon it is very much about feelings and senses. He seems that kinda guy to me, both in this fic and irl. Which have kinda become synonymous in my mind. :P
